I’m teaming up with award-winning harpist and sound sculptress Destiny Muhammad on December 28th to celebrate Ujimaa,or Collective Work and Responsibility. I have a poetic affirmation and mantra to share and so much more. Register now! Animated Short Film – Coming Soon! After over 10 years of being on Submittable and feeling overlooked as a creative, a grant application of mine was chosen from nearly 80 entries. I earned an individual artist grant that is allowing me to produce a short film called “Lil’ Red is Riding the Wrong Way in the Hood.” It’s a cautionary tale that I’m certain will be a great tool for parents to spark a conversation that could prevent or decrease human trafficking of black and brown youth around the globe.
