Most people think that there’s only ONE WAY to write New Year’s Resolutions, but I don’t recite resolutions everyday. Instead, I recite affirmations. We respond to affirmations better than resolutions. Saying, “I will lose 10 pounds” vs. “I am eating healthy and dancing daily with friends.” Which sounds better and serves one of the Kwanzaa principles?
