On December 18, I was determined to prove my courage and join the brave souls who made their way to the stage to practice improvisational singing and being present. Since I was sitting near the painter. Let’s say I was inspired. Here’s to our next stroll or fitness goal this year. Bobby was playing the grouch. LOL

Tony Holden Birthday Fundraiser
I’ve previously told you about a dear friend who’s been unlawfully detained in Kuwait. My brother Tony Holden-Muhammad is turning 59 on January 8. Sadly, he’s going to experience this birthday away from his friends and family. It’s been heartbreaking at times, but there’s room for hope as he appeals his case this month.

On Tony’s birthday, Monday, January 8 at 7:30pm ET / 6:30pm CT / 4:30pm PT, his family is hosting a Freedom Fund birthday fundraiser. I’ll be there, along with many of Tony’s extended network of family and well respected friends from our spoken word poetry tribe.
